Chevrolet recently handed over the keys of a custom 1973 Silverado to the grand prize winner of the ‘Buy an Icon, Win a Legend’ competition. The classic Chevy has been given a facelift by Al Ghandi Auto to take the classic truck to the next level. Mr. Khalid Mahmood Abdulrazq Mohammad Belselah will now add the classic Chevy to his personal line-up which already boasts a limited edition 2018 Silverado.
2018 marked Chevrolet’s 100 year anniversary of building trucks, and to celebrate with fans, Chevrolet Middle East launched 100 units of a special edition of the full-sized Silverado pick-up truck, each individually numbered to mark their exclusivity. Available in all dealer across the UAE, every customer who bought one of the limited edition Silverado’s was entered to a draw to be in with a chance to win the custom 1973 Silverado.
Speaking about the campaign, Ahmed Soudodi, Head of Brand – Chevrolet, said, “Through this campaign, we wanted to pay homage to Chevrolet’s past and to the many Silverado fans here in the region with a limited edition, regional truck. In celebrating the brand’s heritage, we have built a truck that our fans can truly be proud of and brought a classic Chevy into the 21st century with some choice customizations.”
Over the past century, Chevrolet has forged a reputation for building some of the most powerful, reliable and useable pickup trucks. This legacy continues with the recent launch of the 2019 Chevrolet, which includes two trims exclusive for the Middle East, crowdsourced from the region’s truck lovers, and those are the Regular Cab Trail Boss and RST.
