Always first to recognize the successes of car manufacturers!
It’s that time of the year when ArabWheels gears up for its annual awards ceremony; now entering its fourth year. Every year ArabWheels presents a more influential, further reaching and more prestigious awards ceremony, held at the Meydan Hotel—an impressive landmark of Dubai.
“At ArabWheels, a Trace Media platform, we are serving our partners to recognize their achievements and celebrate their successes in the region. No other media platform in the region does that. ArabWheels is the first to consider that the relationship should be mutual between media platforms and cars manufacturers. I hope you will have better evaluations in your plans for next year because media platforms don’t survive from press releases only. Thank you for joining us and congratulations for each shortlisted brand and a big congratulation to this year’s winners!” said Toni Eid, CEO of Trace Media International.
Commenting on the ArabWheels Awards, Issam Eid, editor in chief of ArabWheels and director of Automotive Media at Trace Media, said: “ArabWheels Awards is much more than just handing over a trophy at a glamourous event every November. It’s a long assignment that is intended to inform potential car buyers about the vehicles that should appear on their shortlists. Notably, it also gives consumers a 50 percent say in the results via our online voting process. Another 50 percent is for our judging panel whose jurors ensure the integrity and credibility of the awards but also serve as an important resource for the industry with a focus on excellence and innovation on a regional scale. The main goal was to achieve a balance between consumers and expert motoring journalists.”
To be eligible for ArabWheels Awards, a car must be an “all-new” or “significantly facelifted” vehicle that has been for sale prior to the announcement of the nominated vehicles.
The four jurors for this year’s ceremony were: Nabil Moustafa, editor in chief, Strive Middle East, Hisham Sakr, pre-owned sales manager, Gargour Automotive Company, Khaled Hammoud, co-editor in chief, ArabWheels, and Issam Eid, editor in chief of ArabWheels.
